This series, Daily Compositions, was started in the spring of 2013. It was my response to an overwhelming period of work and life and began as a way explore some old ideas that have been bouncing around in my head. The series started as three dimensional versions of gesture drawings: fast, loose, with minimal planning, made out of cheap everyday construction materials. As the compositions continued to develop they became longer studies with more thorough explorations of line weight, form and spacial relationships.
